Project Description


FIRM DESCRIPTION:

LUNA combines computer vision and machine learning technologies to continuously build detailed models of individual crops, unique among millions, throughout the day. Using high resolution imagery, as well as real-time bioinformatics, LUNA monitors even the most minute changes in the health of individual plants, giving growers the precise knowledge they need for proactive management. 

Position Summary:

Joined the company in its early stages to lead the development of the Sales and Marketing department. Responsible for designing and executing the go-to-market strategy, building team structure, hiring and training key personnel, and creating all foundational marketing collateral and messaging assets to support brand launch and customer acquisition.

Developed and implemented B2B marketing channel strategies to drive lead generation and strategic partnerships. Created revenue-based financial models to guide business planning, pricing structures, and long-term growth projections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate Development

Built and scaled sales and marketing departments from the ground up. Developed core operational assets, including messaging libraries, branded collateral, and process documentation to support consistent outreach and growth.

Marketing Operations

Led the marketing team, overseeing strategy, execution, and performance. Planned and coordinated multi-channel campaigns, using data-driven insights to design, implement, and optimize marketing initiatives for maximum impact.

ACCOMPLISHMENTs

Leveraging broad early-stage business expertise, I foundational infrastructure across sales and marketing. This included developing business processes, workflows, org charts, job descriptions, customer personas and journeys, and a full suite of sales and marketing assets—such as collateral for trade shows, scripts, and training materials.

Additionally, I contributed extensively to the Series A capital raise and supported Series B positioning and investor packaging. We also delivered a comprehensive multi-year Sales & Marketing strategy and financial pro forma to guide long-term growth planning.
