FIRM DESCRIPTION 

Mandala Springs is a resort and hospitality business with retreat centers in both the Bay Area and Hawaii, dedicated to delivering exceptional on-site experiences for overnight guests, group retreats, and wellness-focused events. The organization blends natural beauty with thoughtful programming to create spaces for rest, rejuvenation, and connection.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Brought on following Phase 1 property development to design, develop, and launch the operating business for Mandala Springs. Within the first year, successfully brought core revenue streams to market, including:

  • Overnight Hospitality – Traditional lodging model serving overnight guests.

  • Retreats & Events – Hosted group retreats, private events, and wellness experiences.

  • Catering Services – On-site and event-based food service offerings.

  • Retail Store – Branded and wellness-focused merchandise sales.

Played a key role in transforming a business that had not yet hosted an event or overnight guest into a premier event venue and rustic resort. Today, it hosts numerous festivals, retreats, and serves as a popular getaway for many Bay Area residents.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate Development

Led the development of core business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. Established foundational infrastructure through corporate formation, business planning, and the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support scalable growth.

General Management

Managed daily business operations, including staff supervision, sales and marketing oversight, and remote coordination of on-site teams. Developed systems for performance monitoring, reporting, and operational control to ensure alignment with business objectives. Led the design of the on-site user experience and the creation of marketing collateral to support brand visibility and engagement.

Land Development

Managed $2M in land improvement projects to expand overnight accommodations, enhance guest experiences, upgrade infrastructure, and develop new venue spaces. These initiatives supported increased capacity, improved marketability, boosted revenue potential, and enhanced long-term property value.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE

Business Startup

Led the launch and management of the first year of operations, developing a comprehensive business plan and financial model. Established the foundational structure for the initial phases of business departments, setting the stage for sustainable growth.

Branding, Marketing, and Sales

Built the company brand, creating both digital and print media to enhance brand identity, along with on-site branding experiences. Implemented best practices for online marketing and developed a robust sales pipeline to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
