PROJECT SUMMARY

After working on several initial projects with Robert Kendrick, I was brought on board at Northwest Stewards, the development company behind Madrona Cove, to serve as the onsite Project Manager for the 50-acre residential development. My initial focus was on the design and construction of key community amenities. This included creating 3.5 miles of trails, a community garden, a beachfront gathering space, and multiple picnic and bird-watching areas. I was also responsible for lot identification and clearing in preparation for future home sites.

As the project progressed, I transitioned into managing all onsite construction and development activities. This included overseeing public roadway construction, utility installation, and ensuring compliance with zoning and permitting requirements. The role demanded close coordination with contractors, local officials, and environmental consultants, as well as a focus on delivering long-term value through thoughtful design and responsible development practices.

FIRM DESCRIPTION

Madrona Cove is an exclusive community located on Clovis Passage. Only 15 Private parcels are available within the approximately 50 acres of Madrona Cove, with a private beach and kayak launch, meandering nature trails and community garden, and over 30 acres of reserved forest and tidelands remaining as a private sanctuary owned by residents of the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Oversaw all onsite construction and design development activities, including creating and managing development schedules, overseeing and controlling project budgets, and ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards throughout all phases of the project.
