Project Description

PROJECT SUMMARY

I was brought on board at Camp Navarro shortly after its launch to handle sales, product, and business development. The founders needed someone to help establish a sustainable business model, grow the brand, and increase revenue streams.

Within two years, I successfully built out a sales department that consistently booked events and secured long-term partnerships. I also developed and launched four key revenue centers:

Event Sales Department: Managed corporate and private event bookings, transforming the camp into a sought-after venue for weddings, retreats, and corporate events.

Camp Navarro Catering: Created a catering service to support onsite events, expanding our revenue while providing high-quality food options for guests.

Event Programming & Unique Events: Developed and implemented programming for retreats and events, including workshops, wellness activities, and team-building exercises.

The Trading Post Cafe: Opened a cafe on-site to serve guests and visitors, generating additional income and enhancing the guest experience.

In addition to sales and business development, I was responsible for corporate shareholder reporting, ensuring that stakeholders remained informed about the company’s financial health and strategic direction. I also led the capital improvement program, overseeing significant investments to enhance the property’s infrastructure, guest experience, and overall aesthetic, positioning Camp Navarro as a premier destination.
